Welcome from the Principal

Welcome to Merwin Elementary, home of the Mustangs! Our school serves students in Kindergarten through 5th grade, as well as students who participate in our LINK program. Our one fundamental belief in West Clermont is that we believe all students can learn and we are the educators who can make it happen.

In addition to our students being dedicated to academics, our Mustangs also work diligently to be Honest, Empathetic, Respectful, and Determined learners, as we want our entire school community to be part of the HERD, not just while at Merwin, but while in the community, as well.

Our dedicated team is committed to helping every student learn and develop, supporting their growth to achieve their fullest potential. Working alongside our staff, we have an amazing community of dedicated families who volunteer to support our students. The hard work of these volunteers allows for events which promote connectivity of our school community outside of the school day. 

It’s my honor to serve as the principal of Merwin Elementary School, and I look forward to being a partner in your child's education.
